JUST HILARIOUS! December 26, 2008 This is a great book by Jhonen...I've always been a fan, and this one was a good addition. Some of the stories are so funny that I actually teared up laughing with my husband reading them and noticing the characters overly animated faces! Gotta have a broad sense of humor and i suggest you check out the innards to see if you have a taste for the humor. Very funny/offensive. HAAA
Classic October 13, 2008 Ask any comic book enthusiast who Jhonen Vasquez is and they'll probably say that guy who created Invader Zim, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, or the lovable but mistreated Squee.
Squee is about a young boy name Todd but everyone calls him Squee. His parents hate him. His next door neighbor is a homicidal manaic and protagonist in another book by Jhonen. His best friend is the son of Satan. And his classmates are all brainwashed zombies who also hate him. And if that wasn't enough, the neglected boy is afraid of most everything.
Squee is the story about how many of us were when we were young. Frightened, confusied, and strong-willed. Only Squee's childhood is like the box marked "fragile" that is constantly damaged.
Don't want to share a seat on the bus? September 18, 2008 Read this on the crowded bus. People look over your shoulder to see why you are laughing with tears streaming down your face, mascara running(boy or girl, doesn't matter). Make sure they get a good, long look at this. You will not have to share your seat, no matter how crowded the bus.
Hilarious June 16, 2008 Great book for any JTHM fans Its a bit short but the author makes up for that by adding all of the old meanwhiles,
wonderfully dark sci-fi/ horror comic March 26, 2008 Best read after reading JTHM. Lots more noodle boy and other shorts. Makes me laugh in the same way I laugh at road kill or handicapped children.
