Product Description
"This is a series of stories of what it looks like to walk with God, over the course of about a year." So begins a remarkable narrative of one man's journey learning to hear the voice of God. In Walking wtih God by John Eldredge, the details are intimate and personal. The invitation is for us all. What if we could hear from God . . . often? What difference would it make? All day long we are making choices. It adds up to an enormous amount of decisions in a lifetime. How do we know what to do? We have two options. We can trudge through on our own, doing our best to figure it all out. Or, we can walk with God. As in, learn to hear his voice. Really. We can live life with God. He offers to speak to us and guide us. Every day. It is an incredible offer. To accept that offer is to enter into an adventure filled with joy and risk, transformation and breakthrough. And more clarity than we ever thought possible.

Is God Interested in the details of our Lives? December 1, 2008 At first I didn't want to read this book by John Eldredge. But I'm glad I did.
My assumptions were so wrong. I found this book to be quite challenging. Yes, God is interested in the details of our lives. Once we understand that fact, we're on our way to engaging the heart of God on a personal basis.
As believers we could actually find ourselves being deists because of our failure to engage the heart of God on a daily, personal basis. God wants to engage our hearts. But we must let him.
I gladly recommend Walking with God by John Eldredge.
Walking With God is Heavenly. November 23, 2008 Walking With God helps to know how to relate to God and what He wants for us. Was told about it by my daughter who has introduced it to their church study group. Since then others have asked about it and have become interested. No one has been disappointed. I recommend it highly. We can become more aware of the meaning of our lives and that we do not walk alone. God is here now with us.

My first impression of this book was, where do they find the time to tdo all that praying? I enjoyed the book but I guess I never got the real point of the book other than God has a plan and sometimes we fight that plan and end up getting hit by a two by four to pay attention. Also they we have tendency to focus on what God is not giving and to not look at what God is giving us. Although not dynamic and slow in laces is worth the read or the listen.
Super Book, My Favorite on the Topic September 29, 2008 I have read a few books on hearing God but this one is my favorite. It is super and such an encouragement.
great author and another great book September 18, 2008 John Elderigde is a man of God. He speaks clearly and relvantly in this book just like his other books. It was the perfect thing to buy.
