An excellent photo journalistic work covering every variety of Chinese Scholar's Rocks (or Spirit Stones.) It contains well-photographed stones of every type. The writings are to the point and complete, covering the history of the stones as well as the types of stones, their origins, and characteristics. This book is a "must have" for any Spirit Stone collector. The only thing I found lacking is information on how to identify the various types of stones and pitfalls for collectors to avoid.
