 Beautiful December 31, 2008
I purchased this bonsai about a year ago as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. It arrived exactly as pictured. The boyfriend has kept it both indoors and out, and it has thrived. After a year and a move to a significantly different climate, it is still alive and still beautiful, thanks to careful pruning. I would absolutely recommend it.

The tree is beautiful but upon arrival when I opened the carton some of the dirt and pebbles were scattered around in the box. Also, no humidity tray was included - the last place I purchased from online included that with a bag of pebbles to put in it.

Very Cute, Great for a Gift, the smaller bonsai died July 12, 2008
I got this as a Christmas gift for my in-laws. It arrived quickly, and in good shape. They really liked it, and placed it in their living room between two lounge chairs (they live on the beach, so it gets a LOT of light). The pot is nice, and doesn't look cheap. The larger Jade tree is now, about 8 months later, in great shape and has grown quite a bit (we are looking in to how to/if to prune it). The other little tree died a few weeks after they received it, and they just took it out and pushed the soil over the hole (it looks fine still, but this is why I gave it a 4 rather than a 5).

WHEN THE TREE WAS DELIVERED IT LOOKED GREAT, BUT I NOTICED AFTER ABOUT 2- 3 WEEKS IT STARTED DYING. LATER I LOOKED CLOSELY AND THE TREE HAD BEEN BROKEN AT THE TRUNK....TOO LATE TO SEND IT BACK TO AMAZON! I HAVE ORDERED 3 OTHER FICUS TREES AND THEY ARE GREAT. MAYBE IT BROKE DURING SHIPMENT, BUT I WILL NOT ORDER ANOTHER JADE BONSAI. I SEE OTHERS RATING IT HIGHLY AND I PROBABLY JUST GOT A BAD ONE OR IT WAS DAMAGED DURING PACKING OR SHIPPING, SO TAKE THIS REVIEW WITH A GRAIN OF SALT....
