These silver chimes play notes inspired by the work of famous Japanese composer Toru Takemitsu. "From Me Flows What You Call Time" is a musical score infused with the symbolism of Tibetan Buddhism. Company founder Garry Kvistad has developed an advanced method of tuning used on every Woodstock chime: each tube is analyzed digitally with a microphone under the tube measuring the frequency, and cutters are instructed to remove just the right amount of material to produce the most precise tuning possible.  Beautiful Music in the garden September 7, 2008
I received this product as a gift and I absolutely love it. The sound is very soothing and beautiful.

I had the Woodstock "Earth" chimes for about 8 years, and loved them, however, my husband was not a big fan...he felt they were too noisy on windy days. The string on them broke this year, and even though Woodstock was kind enough to send me string to restring it, it proved to be more than I wanted to do. I ended up ordering the Tibetan chimes, and love them. They are smaller than my Earth chimes, but their tone is beautiful, and even on the windiest days they are not intrusive. I love them!

This chime is beautiful, and the sound is calm and soothing. It is about 24 inches long and 8 inches across. It is hanging outside my fire escape, and I love it in the summer when taking an afternoon nap. It is so relaxing. My neighbors have all enjoyed it too! I have purchased 2 as gifts.

Woodstock offers the finest collection of tuned chimes that are readily available and there is somthing for every taste. You can test a sample before buying which is very helpful. I love chimes but have a touchy nervous system as I've grown older. The tibetan chime fills the bill perfectly. It is neither too tinkly high or too clangy low but just beautiful sonorous middle tones. Because of it's construction it also does not sound constantly which I do not like in a chime. And it's softest sounds are the very best. It is totally soothing and painless to hang ( just be aware you do need a good breeze once in awhile ).
