The best book on "pickup" out there. This stuff works! July 29, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had a review up here before but all the reviews dissappeared. What's up with that? Oh well, I'm back to say this is indeed the best book on pickup out there. The Zen stuff is just icing on the cake. The book is filled with assignments, step by step instructions that will take you from where you are now to where you want to be, whether that's in a relationship or casual dating or whatever. It really explores all the variables and gives you some solid advice on improving your game and getting results. Definitely a well written and well thought out guide.
In the moment May 12, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
These pua books continue to impress me. Their advice is equally applicable to business. Be in the moment when you talk to someone. Go with the flow of the conversation. Do not try to anticipate or direct it. Golden. Weiss gives examples of the hows and explains the whys. Also a good mantra: notice, admire, relate when talking to women. This mantra drives an emotional conversation which leads to a mutual emotional state. An excellent addition to the literature.
If You're a Shy Guy, Give this Book a Whirl April 25, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Saw this book at my brother's and decided to give it a look. I guess if you're afraid of women or afraid of rejection, lack confidence or are just plain ugly -- well scratch that last one, no don't -- then this might be the book for you. However, in my life I've found that there are women everywhere. You can find them in supermarkets and malls, at baseball games and town hall meetings, carnivals and parades.
Heck, they're everywhere. I've spotted them at the beach, in bars, uptown and downtown. I've seen them at the airport, even saw one in my carport. Lord have mercy there are just so many of them and I've found if you say hello, most say it back. My advice, if you want a dinner date, ask a woman, if she says no, ask another, but if you're afraid or too shy to do that, then give this book a whirl, it might just help you out.
Zen? March 26, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
A good read. This book is good for beginners, nice guys who have tremendous approach anxieties. It will modify their core level of thinking. I found it interesting but no match for books from PUAs like Style, Mystery. I also found that it doesn't quite realate to true Zen which is instant enlightenment not this kind of mundane. In addition the symbol on the girl's back is Tao-YinYang not Zen.
Conclusion If you've already read those books, you can skip this book. If you're infected with NGS Nice guy syndrome - this is a must.
