Customer Reviews:
B&D Cordless Blower excellent October 24, 2008 Had already bought the newer 18v cordless B&D weed trimmer (had an older model with lesser voltage battery and much bigger battery) and it works great, so thought I'd try the cordless blower. I have a corded model that works well, but, as we all know the power cord is real pain.
Cordless blower very powerful for what I need it for - blowing leaves and grass around the yard to corral for lawnmower pick-up. Having the extra 18v from the weed trimmer helps as the blower seems to use the battery power quicker than the weed trimmer.
I just hope these batteries last better than the older version ones as they say these can stay pugged in to keep their power without affecting performance.
Even with the potential for battery issues (just make sure you've always got a fresh one or two) I highly recommend both B&D pieces and may now look to buy the cordless hedge trimmer.

The Blower That Gets Used! October 17, 2008 Ok, this is not the most powerful leaf blower in the world but it is the one that I use most often. It is so convenient to grab and use! 90% of the time, it is all the power that I need to do the job ! I am keeping my Toro corded blower for the occasional "big job":
Toro Ultra 12 Amp Variable Speed Electric Blower/Vacuum With Metal Impeller #51599
I would recommend the purchase of a rapid charger along with this tool, as the included charger is quite slow:
Black & Decker FSMVC 9.6-Volt to 18-Volt Slide Style Battery Charger
A spare battery pack is also useful:

Makes Life Easier October 13, 2008 Black & Decker 18-Volt Cordless Electric Broom Hard Surface Sweeper #NS118 We have been needing this for a long time. It eliminates the need to drag a 50 foot extension cord around the front and back yards whenever we want to pile up leaves. The force of the blower motor is fine and the 18 volt battery provides plenty of juice to keep it going until the job is done. The weight, even with the battery attatched, is not not enough to present problems for us. The price is right. The battery, charger, and two year warranty is included in the deal.
It's just okay October 3, 2008 This cordelss blower is just okay. Nothing great. It comes with only one battery so I purchased a back up at Home Depot. The battery makes this unit heavier than my previous one (which unfortunately was discontinued) and it only lasts a good 10 minutes. It is fine for blowing my patio and deck but that's about it. Would not buy again.
Get it only if 2 batteries are included. October 1, 2008 This product used to include 2 batteries. But, B&D has dropped it down to 1. The cost of each battery is around $30 to $35. I found the last one in my local Lowes store that still has 2 batteries. The blowing capability is low, but sufficient for hard surface. The blowing duration with a fresh charged battery is around 15 mins. It's convenient for quick job. I drop 1 point due to its limited power, I drop 1 more point because the included battery is dropped from 2 to 1.
